Multicopter ESC Information

An ESC is short for Electronic Speed Controller. This is a part of the copter that plugs into the motor and controlls the speed of the motor. One end of the speed controller plugs into the motor, while the other end plugs into the Flight Control Board, or "Brain" of your copter. The sole purpose of this is to use low power circuts to control high power mechanica, like your motors.

When choosing an Electronic Speed Controller For your copter you have to keep in mind a few things. The amp pull of your motor must be less than the amps that your ESC is graded for. For example, you have a motor that pulls 25 amps MAX, you then would need to choose a spedd controller that was more than that value, by at least 5 amps. So the most likely choice, and best choice would be a 30 Amp speed controller.

So just make sure that you choose a speed controller that is properly graded for your moter and everything will be ok!
